    • "MasterMove 3rd Pizza Playing Session" will be held on Feb 10th, 2013(Sunday)from 9.30am to 1pm.

Venue: Beverly Hill Function Room, Grange Road (landmark: near Indonesian Embassy)

All Mastermove Chess academy's current & ex-students gather once in three months to have a group lesson followed by play few friendly chess games.

During 20 min pizza break, children have snacks & bewarages. It's main purpose is fun as well as improves their playing strength, interest, opportunity to play with other players & coaches.

we coaches also observe how they are playing and train them accordingly.

    • "65th National School Individual Chess Championship" will be held from March 19th to March 22nd at TBC.

SCF has scheduled to organize this Nataional School Event. This tournament will be held in Rapid format from 19th to 22nd March.

    • "Hong Bao Rapid 2013" will be held on Feb 17th (Sun) at Singapore Scout Association.

It is organized in Grand Prix Standard & Rapid: 2nd Leg format, organized by SCF

    • Magnus Carlsen - at the top of the chess world

22 years old Magnus Carlsen of Norway has won the 4th London Classic in style in Dec 2012. Magnus' Live rating, currently 2861.4 is an all time record and has surpassed Garry Kasparov's record of 2851 which stood for 13 years.

Magnus Carlsen drew with World Champion Viswanathan Anand in the final round of the London Chess Classic to finish the tournament with 18 points and claim the winner’s trophy.

      This is Carlsen’s third victory in London (after 2009, 2010), with the row being interrupted by
Vladimir Kramnik’s good effort in 2011
      .

    • MasterMove Chess Academy conducted the "1st Deepavali Chess Championships 2008" on Oct 19th, 2008.

A group of masterminds participated from the academy & executed master moves, had shown fine performances. A total of five rounds were conducted in each of the 3 categories called Platinum, Gold & Silver and received a total of 30 prizes in the tournament. Masters Arnav, Ishita & Aditi (6 years) were the youngest participants in this event. Children also enjoyed a lot in Pizza & Cool drinks break!
